Number 4's story: Draw to Adopt

Okay, so a good friend of mine also entered and I will understand if you don't choose me cause she colored it very well and I just made a silly background story and a couple of drawings.

This was from LittleSoyaBeanMilk and here is the general background story:

Popular and beautiful, Raina is enrolled in middle school. Many children gather around her in school. Teachers praise her for the effort she puts into her school work, but the sad truth is, no one wants to know her and her life at home. She lives alone with her mother who is consumed with her work. Her father lives in America with the woman who destroyed her life with an affair. In the right picture, Raina reads cell phone novels and imagines herself as the heroine of each story, wishing hard for her life to change.

The coming week, her city holds a festival celebrating the lives of the people, but a myth arises telling of a spirit who picks a sacrifice amoung the people to give to the gods. Raina shutters at the thought, but is lost in the beautiful festival surrounding her. She feels a fleeting happiness overwhelm her as she eats, plays, and dances, but as the festival draws to an end, she feels emptiness swell in her heart once again. She can not even a weak smile. She sighs, heading to her house where her mother won't return to for another three hours. Then, he passes. A man with long white hair stares at her, with evaluating eyes. He takes a step towards her, graceful. Captured in both his beauty and her own fear, Raina stands frozen with her mouth wide open. He is just a step away, and then he is not. He kisses her with eyes open, throwing her off balance and onto the ground. 

He picks her up in his arms and she falls asleep. No one sees her except for the eyes of the beasts. For she has been chosen as the guardian of this city that has lost its destiny.
